What we do:

• We collect your loan application through our online form.
• We forward your application to one or more partner third-party lenders.
• We facilitate the connection between you and our partner lenders.
• We provide educational information about quick loans and loans without credit checks.

What we DO NOT do:

• We do not make any decisions regarding the approval or denial of your application.
• We do not determine interest rates, fees, or loan terms.
• We do not disburse any funds directly to applicants.
• We do not collect any repayment payments.
• We do not guarantee loan approval.
• We do not provide personalized financial advice.

Partner lenders

Who are the partner lenders?

The partner lenders are independent third-party companies that:

• Hold the licenses required by the Canada Office of Consumer Protection (OPC)
• Are subject to Canada consumer credit regulations
• Operate independently of Focus Cash
• Make their own approval decisions based on their internal criteria

Responsibilities of Partner Lenders

Any lending relationship is exclusively between you and the partner lender. The lender is responsible for:

• Evaluating your application and making the approval decision
• Determining the interest rate, fees, and terms
• Providing full disclosure of costs before the contract is signed
• Disbursing the funds if your application is approved
• Collecting repayments
• Complying with all applicable laws

Note: Focus Cash is not responsible for the decisions, actions, omissions, or practices of its partner lenders. Any complaints regarding a loan must be directed to the lender concerned or to the Canada Office of Consumer Protection.

Focus Cash does not guarantee that your loan application will be approved. Approval depends entirely on:

• The specific evaluation criteria of each partner lender
• Your personal financial situation
• Your banking history as analyzed by the IBV (Instant Bank Verification)
• Your demonstrated ability to repay the loan
• Other factors determined by the lender

Phrases such as "no refusal," "guaranteed approval," or "everyone is accepted" are misleading and do not reflect reality. No reputable lender can guarantee approval before evaluating your application.

Compensation and Potential Conflicts of Interest

How Focus Cash is compensated?

Focus Cash may receive financial compensation from partner lenders for loan applications submitted through its platform. This compensation may take the form of:

• Referral fees per application submitted
• Commission on loans granted
• Other forms of compensation agreed upon with partner lenders

Potential Conflict of Interest

This compensation model creates a potential conflict of interest that you should be aware of:

• Focus Cash has a financial interest in loans being granted.

• Focus Cash is unable to provide you with impartial advice on whether a loan is suitable for your situation.

Your rights as a consumer

Before signing a loan agreement:

The lender is required to provide you with:

• The exact annual percentage rate (APR)
• The total cost of the loan in dollars
• The amount of each payment and the payment frequency
• The total term of the loan
• All applicable additional fees
• Penalties for late payments or default

Never sign a contract without having this information clearly in writing.

After signing a contract:

According to the Canada Consumer Protection Act:

• You have 2 business days to cancel the contract without charge or penalty.
• You can repay the loan early at any time.
• The lender must respect the maximum legal interest rates.

• File a complaint with the Consumer Protection Office : www.opc.gouv.qc.ca
• Consult a lawyer or legal aid clinic if necessary.
